MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Associates Degree or Technical Certification preferred

• Familiarity with one or more of the following:  Plumbing & Heating, HVAC, Water Treatment or Private Well Systems products
• Hands-on or technical field experience
• Enthusiastic, customer-pleasing attitude
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Good organizational and documentation skills
• Analytical with mechanical troubleshooting proficiency
• Computer literate; Microsoft Excel, Word and Access a plus

The ideal candidate will have had experience with residential and/or commercial mechanical systems.  Examples include positions held in the plumbing trades, distributor counter sales, apprenticeships, technical support or field support positions.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:
This position is a first-line technical support role in an office environment.  The job consists of providing customers with sizing, installation, application and troubleshooting assistance over the telephone and via email.  Other responsibilities may include internal training and making recommendations concerning AMTROL products based on input and information received from field applications and installations.  Job training will be provided by experienced members of the department and will include hands-on instruction.
